Go First

New Delhi: The Delhi High Court on Friday gave a go-ahead for the deregistration of planes of lessors who approached the court. Notably, the lessors approached the court against Go First for the deregistration of its aircraft. The Delhi HC directed the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to process forthwith applications for the deregistration of aircraft of the application lessors.

Application to be processed in five days. The DGCA will assist petitioner lessors and grant them access to airports.

GoFirst was restrained from accessing, or flying, any of these aircraft. The airline was also restrained from removing any spare parts, documents etc. Lessors were permitted to export aircraft under applicable rules.

The Maintenance cost is to be undertaken by petitioner lessors until the time they are deregistered.
