Goyal highlighted the necessity for such a specialised fleet, emphasising the challenges faced by customers in the past when placing large orders through conventional delivery partners. He expressed Zomato’s commitment to elevating the customer experience, recognizing the need for a dedicated solution to streamline deliveries for group orders.
Goyal added, “Having said that, these vehicles are still “work in progress”, and we are in the process of adding important enhancements to them – like cooling compartments, and hot boxes with temperature control – to ensure everything arrives just the way you like.”
Acknowledging that the fleet is a work in progress, Goyal outlined ongoing efforts to incorporate essential enhancements. These improvements include the integration of cooling compartments and hot boxes equipped with temperature control features, ensuring that orders are delivered in optimal condition, meeting customers’ preferences and expectations.
