IREDA stock opened gap up with a gain of 2.47 per cent. The counter touched an intraday high of Rs 169.7 a share, up by 6.03 per cent from its previous close of Rs 160.05 apiece, outperforming the sector by 2.12 per cent.

Avdhut Bagkar, Derivatives & Technical Analyst at StoxBox said that until the support of Rs 150 is defended, the price action appears to scale higher levels in the following sessions. While the immediate hurdle falls at Rs 175, the accumulation in the range of Rs 155 – Rs 160 is poised to rise higher.
“A major breakout over Rs 180 shall witness a bullish rally towards Rs 200 mark, as per the daily set-up. However, failure to hold Rs 150 could derail the upside bias, leading a decline to 135 mark,” he added.
